Baked Trout in Wine

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

6 trout (if frozen, thaw)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
salt and pepper
1 cup dry white wine
2 tablespoons fresh parsley
6 thin slices of lemon
¼ cup sliced green onions or scallions
2 tablespoons fine, dry bread crumbs
¼ cup melted butter or margarine 
fresh dill

Instructions

Wash and dry trout, brush inside with some of the lemon juice and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Arrange in a shallow baking dish and brush with remaining lemon juice, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour wine into bottom of dish. Sprinkle fish evenly with parsley, onions and bread crumbs; and spoon melted butter over each. Bake uncovered in 400° oven 25 minutes or until fish can be easily flaked with fork. Place in serving dish and garnish with dill and lemon slices.
