Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

1 to 1 ½ lbs. Shoulder steak, cut in strips
2 tablespoons oil
2 onions, chopped
1 can bean sprouts, drained
1 large green pepper, sliced
1 cup sliced celery
4 teaspoons cornstarch
1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
1 can mushrooms, save juice
mushroom juice and enough water to make ¾ cup
salt and pepper

Instructions

Brown meat in hot oil, add onions, bean sprouts, green pepper and celery. Cook only 3 to 5 minutes. Combine cornstarch, soy sauce, liquid and seasonings. Mix thoroughly and add mushrooms, stir until liquid is clear and shiny. Serve over rice. Serves 4.
