Bob’s House Slaw

Recipe Ingredients
1 head cabbage, slivered (10 cups)
1 large green pepper, cut in rings
2 medium Spanish onions, cut in rings
1 cups sugar
1 cup white vinegar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 tablespoon salt
¾ cup salad oil
Instructions
In a large bowl, make layers of cabbage, green pepper, and onion. Sprinkle 1 cup of sugar over top. In saucepan combine mustard, 2 teaspoons sugar, celery seed, salt, vinegar and oil. Mix well. Bring to a full boil, stirring. Pour over slaw. Refrigerate, covered at least 4 hours. To serve, or before going on picnic, toss salad to mix well. Makes 8 servings.
