Boiled Fudge Frosting

Recipe Ingredients

2 ounces chocolate
1 ½ cups sugar
7 tablespoons milk or cream
2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
1 tablespoon corn syrup
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

Place all ingredients, except vanilla, in sauce pan. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes. Cool, add vanilla and beat until thick enough to spread.
