Brisket with Beer

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

5 lbs. brisket
4 stalks celery
2 sliced onions
1 cup chili sauce
2 teaspoons salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 (12 oz.) can beer

Instructions

Place brisket in pan; cover with all ingredients except the beer. Roast, uncovered at 325° until brown (about) 1 to 1 ½ hours), basting frequently. Cover and roast 3 to 3 ½ hours longer; add beer during the last hour of cooking.
