Butter Horns

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

½ pound butter
1 package of dry yeast dissolved in 1 cup light cream or evaporated milk
3 egg yolks
3 ½ to 4 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar 
pinch of salt

Instructions

Place all ingredients in large bowl and let stand to room temperature. Work all together until well blended. Refrigerate over night. Divide dough in 4 parts. Roll each piece in circle, spread with jam, nuts and raisins, cut in wedges, roll from wide to narrow. Dip in white of egg, sugar and cinnamon. Bake in 350° oven about 20 minutes.
