Butterscotch Ice Box Cookies
Recipe Description
Recipe Ingredients
2 cups brown sugar
½ pound butter, melted
½ cup chopped dates
½ teaspoon baking powder
¾ teaspoon baking soda
3 ½ cups flour
½ cup chopped maraschino cherries
½ cup chopped nuts
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together. Form into 3 rolls and wrap in waxed paper. Chill in refrigerator for sever hours. Slice and bake on greased cookie sheets for 10 minutes at 350°. Makes about 5 dozen.
