Cherry Cheese Torte

1 cup graham cracker crumbs
½ cup sugar
¼ cup soft butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
8 ounces cream cheese
½ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 can cherry pie filling
Instructions
Mix together graham cracker crumbs, ¼ cup sugar and soft butter. Pat into the bottom of a 9 inch square pan. In electric mixer, cream together cream cheese and ½ cup sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Pour over crumb crust and bake at 350°for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool, then cover with pie filling. Chill several hours. Makes 9 squares.
