Cranberry Pie

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

pastry for 2 crust 9 inch pie pan
3 cups chopped cranberries
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon flour
pinch of salt
¼ cup molasses
¼ cup hot water

Instructions

Cranberries may be coarsely chopped or cut in half. Add sugar, flour and salt. Add molasses to the hot water, then mix with cranberries. Bake in two crusts (venting the top crust) in a 450° oven for 10 minutes, reduce heat to 350° and continue baking about 35 minutes longer. Cool before serving. Serves 8.
