Cranberry Swirl Coffee Cake

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

¼ lb. butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 lb. can  whole cranberry sauce
½ pint sour cream
½ cup chopped nuts

Instructions

Cream butter and add sugar gradually. Add unbeaten eggs one at a time, using medium speed on mixer. Add dry ingredients, which have been sifted together, alternately with sour cream, ending with dry ingredients. In a greased 8 inch tube pan, add layer of batter, ½ cranberries, batter, rest of cranberries and rest of batter. Top with chopped nuts. Bake in a 350° oven one hour or until cake tests done.
