Date and Apricot Loaf

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

1 package dates, cut up
1 cup apricots cut in fourths
2 teaspoon baking soda
1 ½ cups sugar
¼ lb. margarine

Instructions

Put all ingredients in a bowl, and pour ¾ cup boiling water over and cool. Add 2 slightly beaten eggs and 2 ½ cups flour. Bake in greased loaf pan 1 to 1 ½ hours at 350°. Remove from pan about 25 minutes after finished baking.
