Easy Pot Roast Dinner

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

1 envelope instant marinade
2/3 cup vegetable juice cocktail
3 to 4 lbs. Pot roast
2 tablespoons flour
1 can potatoes, drained
1 can cut green beans, drained
1 can mushrooms, drained
½ cup water

Instructions

Combine meat and vegetable juice in dutch oven, add meat marinade and pierce meat with fork, turn and marinate for 15 minutes. Simmer for 2 ½ hours; add vegetables and simmer another 15 minutes. Remove meat and vegetables to hot plate. Skim fat from pan juices, add flour and water and cook until thick and bubbly. Spoon some gravy over roast.
