English Trifle

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

1 large pound cake, sliced and cut in half
3 packages instant pudding (vanilla, chocolate, banana cream)
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
1/3 cup chopped nuts
2 bananas, sliced
¼ cup sherry
1/3 cp chocolate coconut

Instructions

Make puddings as directed on box and refrigerate for a few minute. In a large serving bowl, place pieces of cake to cover the bottom. Cover cake with sherry sprinkled on each piece. Cover cake with vanilla pudding making sure the entire layer is covered. Spoon pineapple over pudding. Repeat cake and sherry for the next layer. Over chocolate pudding, sprinkle coconut and nuts. Cake and sherry for the last layer is topped with banana cream pudding. Cover with sliced bananas. Spread whipped cream or cool whip topping over all. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serves 12.
