Recipe Ingredients
½ cup soy sauce
12 chicken livers
12 water chestnuts, halved
1 cup brown sugar
12 slices Beef Frye, halved
Instructions
Lightly broil chicken; and cut in halves. Marinate chicken livers in soy sauce for 4 hours. Insert half water chestnut into each chicken liver half. Dip in brown sugar; wrap beef frye around liver and fasten with toothpick. Dip again in brown sugar. Place on baking sheet; bake at 400° for 20 to 30 minutes. Serve piping hot.
