Grilled Zucchini or Egg Plant

Cut zucchini or egg plant in half lengthwise, score flesh deeply in crisscross
pattern, don’t pierce skin. Rub surfaces with olive oil so it is well coated.
Let stand 10 minutes add oil if surface is dry. Season with salt, pepper, and
grill 3 to 5 minutes; turn, brush with oil, and grill until tender. Don’t char it.
