Ground Steak with Peas

1 lb. Ground beef
1 package frozen peas, thawed
1 tablespoon corn oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sherry
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoons cornstarch, dissolved in water
Instructions
Thaw peas. Dissolve cornstarch in 1 tablespoon water. Heat oil over high flame. Add ground beef stirring until red color disappears. Add soy sauce, sherry and sugar. Mix thoroughly. Add peas, mix well and cook 3 minutes. Thicken with dissolved cornstarch. Serves 4.
