Hawaiian Chicken

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

2 cut up chickens
2 tablespoons lemon juice
seasoned flour
margarine
1 cp orange juice
1 jar candied oranges or 1 jar orange marmalade
1 can crushed pineapple, 8 ¼ ounces (do not drain)
½ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon soy sauce

Instructions

Shake chicken in flour. Brush with margarine (melted). Bake 50 minutes at 350° or until brown. Combine juices, sugar, soy sauce and corn starch and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat when thick and clear. Add fruit. Pour mixture over chicken coating each piece. Bake until hot. Variation: instead of oranges or marmalade, use ½ cup each white raisins and seedless raisins.
