Honey Pecan Pie

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell
3 eggs
½ cup brown sugar
1/3 cup honey
pinch of salt
½ teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

Beat eggs slightly; add brown sugar, salt, honey and vanilla. Mix well; blend in pecans. Turn into shell. Bake at 475° for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 325° and bake 35 minutes longer. Cool; then chill. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream and top with pecan halves. Bake on center rack of oven. Can be frozen.
