Hot Tuna Salad

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

1 6 ½ or 7 oz. can tuna, drained and flaked
1 cup diced celery
½ cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
¼ cup crushed corn flakes
1 tablespoon (shaker container) grated American cheese
¼ cup slivered almonds, toasted
2 tablespoons chopped ripe olives
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon minced onion
1 tablespoon butter, melted

Instructions

Combine tuna, celery, mayonnaise or salad dressing, toasted almonds, ripe olives, lemon juice and onion, toss lightly. Pile into four baking shells or individual baking dishes. Bake in moderate over 350° for 10 minutes. Combine crushed corn flakes, cheese and melted butter; sprinkle over the hot salads. Bake 10 minutes more or until browned.
