Hungarian Coffee Cake

Recipe Ingredients
¼ cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 ¼ cups flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 can pie filling (apple, cherry or pineapple)
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well. Add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with sour cream. Spread ½ batter in a 13 X 9 inch greased and floured pan. Spread pie filling over batter and cover with remaining batter. Sprinkle with nut topping.
Topping: ½ cup chopped pecans; 2 teaspoons sugar and ½ teaspoon cinnamon. Bake in 375° oven for 40 minutes.
