Jelly Roll

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

3  eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
¾ cup flour
1/3 cup water
¾ cup sugar

Instructions

Beat eggs till light, add sugar, beat till light and fluffy. Add water, flour, vanilla. Line greased 10 X 15 inch jelly roll pan with greased wax paper. Bake at 375° for 12 minutes Cover towel with confectioners’ sugar. Put jelly roll on towel, carefully tear off wax paper, cut off hard crusts around edges, spread raspberry jam and roll up lengthwise. Work quickly. If you want to fill with ice cream, lemon pudding, strawberry cream, roll up without filling. Cool. Unroll and fill.
