Kun Koki (Korean Broiled Steak)

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

1 ½ lbs. Flank steak
3 tablespoons sesame seeds
3 tablespoons salad oil
¼ cup soy sauce
½ cup finely sliced green onions
1 clove garlic, crushed or garlic powder
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼  teaspoon ground ginger
2 teaspoons brown sugar

Instructions

Trim steak. Score and pound the meat. Cut into 3 X 4 inch pieces. Combine remaining ingredients and marinate steak in the mixture for 1 hour or more. Place steak on rack in preheated oven, or charcoal grill. Broil about 4 to 5 minutes. Turn, broil other side 3 to 4 minutes. Serve hot. Yields 4 to 6 servings.
