Lemon Cake

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

4 dozen lady fingers, split and line bottom and side of spring form pa.
5 lemons, rind and juice
1 ½ cups sugar
1 pint whipping cream
5 eggs

Instructions

Melt sugar and lemon juice over direct heat. Beat eggs and carefully mix it into the hot mixture, add lemon rid. Set pan in pan of cold water until slightly thickened. Whip the cream and fold half into the lemon mixture. Pour into lined spring form. Put rest of cream over the top. Refrigerate.
