Meatballs with Beer

2 lbs. Ground beef
1 egg
1 onion, diced
seasonings
cracker crumbs
3 large onions, cut up
1 14 oz. Bottle ketchup
1 can beer
Instructions
Prepare meat by mixing with egg, onion, seasonings, and crumbs and form into small balls. Sauté the onions in shortening until limp and golden. Add beer and ketchup and meat balls. Simmer for 2 hours
