Mocha Cream Cake

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

8 oz. marshmallows
¼ cup instant coffee
1 cup water, plus 1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon cocoa
2 cups heavy cream (whipped)
1 teaspoon vanilla
lady fingers or sponge cake
1 bar dark sweet chocolate

Instructions

Combine marshmallows, coffee and cocoa with water. Heat over a low flame until marshmallows melt completely. Transfer to a mixing bowl and cool. Beat for two to three minutes until light in color and smooth. Line an 9 or 9 inch spring form pan with lady fingers or sponge cake. Combine marshmallow-mocha mixture with whipped cream and vanilla. Pour into pan, sprinkle top with shaved chocolate. Refrigerate overnight. Yield 8 to 10 generous portions.
