Passover Cheese Pie

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

Crust
½ cup margarine
½ cup sugar
3 eggs
1¼ cups cake meal
Cream margarine with sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add cake 
meal to make a soft dough. Press into 2 9-inch pie plates. Fill with cheese 
filling. Bake at 325° for 40 minutes. Leave in oven until cool.
Filling
1½ lbs. Cottage cheese
4 eggs
¾ cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons cake meal
juice and rind of 1 lemon
Beat all together thoroughly and pour into unbaked crusts.
