Passover Nut Ball Cookies

Recipe Ingredients

½ cup shortening
¼ cup sugar
1 cup cake meal
1 egg, separated
1 teaspoon flavoring
¼ teaspoon salt
chopped nuts
jelly

Instructions

Mix all ingredients except egg white, nuts and jelly. Roll into small balls. Dip in egg white then nuts. Bake at 350° on greased sheet, 5 minutes. Take out, press center in, add jelly. Return to oven and bake for 8 minutes more.
