Pickled Mushrooms

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

2/3 cup tarragon vinegar 
½ cup salad oil
1 medium clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons water
1 ½ teaspoons salt
dash black pepper
dash bottled hot pepper sauce
1 medium onion
2 6 oz. cans broiled mushrooms drained or 2 pints washed, trimmed fresh mushrooms

Instructions

Combine first 8 ingredients. Slice onions and separate into rings. Add to marinade along with mushrooms cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight, stirring several times. Drain and serve as appetizers
