Pound Cake

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

3 sticks butter or margarine
1 pound powdered confectioners’ sugar
6 eggs
2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

Cream butter with sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 1 minute after each addition. Add flour and mix until blended. Add vanilla. Pour into greased and lightly floured bundt or tube pan. Bake at 350° one hour or until cakes tests done.
