Rice Stuffed Meatloaf Roll

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

1 can (2 oz.) mushroom bits & pieces
2 tablespoons oil
¼ cup diced onion
2 lbs. Ground meat
2 tablespoons green pepper, diced
1 ½ cups cooked rice
1 ½ teaspoons salt
½ cup chili sauce or ketchup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°. Drain mushrooms, set liquid aside. Sauté with onions and green pepper. In a bowl, combine met with ½ cp cooked rice, mushroom liquid, salt and chili sauce. Combine one cup of rice with onions, peppers, and mushroom mixture. Add Worcestershire sauce and salt to taste. On was paper put meat mixture into 10 X 12 inch rectangle. Spread rice mix over the meat. Roll like jelly roll. Place seam side down in lightly oiled roasting pan. Bake for 1 hour.
