Spiced Peach Mold

Recipe Description

Recipe Ingredients

1 can (1 pound) sliced cling peaches
¼ cup vinegar
½ cup sugar
12 whole cloves
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1 (3 oz) package orange flavored gelatin
¾ cup cold water

Instructions

Drain peaches reserving ¾ cup syrup. Dice the peaches. Combine syrup, vinegar, sugar and spices; bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain syrup, discard cloves. If necessary, add boiling water to make one cup. Dissolve gelatin in hot syrup; add cold water and peaches. Chill and stir occasionally to distribute the peaches. When thickened, turn into 4 cup mold.
