Purchased Phyllo cough (8 leaves)
½ lb. Butter, melted
1 lb cottage cheese
1/3 cup milk
4 eggs
2 pounds fresh spinach
Instructions
Brush melted butter in a 9 inch pie plate. Line with a layer of Phyllo crust and brush with melted butter; repeat for a total of 4 layer. Brush remaining Phyllo with butter and set aside while preparing filling. Pour spinach mixture into pie and cover with remaining 4 layers of dough. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350° and bake 35 to 40 minutes longer. Delicious cold the next day.
Spinach filling
Add remaining melted butter to cooked spinach which has been well drained. Add eggs, one at a time beat well; add milk and cottage cheese
