Sweet & Sour Meatballs 2
Recipe Description
Recipe Ingredients
Meatballs:
2 lbs. ground beef
1 medium onion
2 slices of bread toasted for crumbs
2 eggs well beaten
few twists of pepper mill
1 clove garlic
¼ cup dried parsley
¼ cup chili sauce
1 teaspoon salt
Mix all ingredients well, shape into 2 inch meatballs and set aside.
Sauce
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
¾ cup tomato juice
3 tablespoons brown sugar 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Blend well and cook sauce over medium heat until cranberry sauce is melted.
Place meatballs into simmering sauce and cook for 1 hour over low heat.
If desired, add raisins.
